Investigation
The only lights in the room were the small table lamps illuminating the entryway of the asylum. It was rather late––almost ten––but considering the short notice, the staff members were relieved that anyone would show up at all.
Alexander sat in one of the lobby chairs beside a table. He wasn't reading anything––just silently waiting with his leg bouncing in anticipation. Most of the council remained standing, quietly talking amongst themselves in a hushed whisper.
